Raising true bilinguals at Fenix
At Fenix, language is more than vocabulary and grammar—it’s about communication, culture, and human connection. We therefore focus on teacher quality and hire only professional native speakers from the U.S., the U.K., Australia, and Canada. Daily exposure to authentic English naturally develops children’s ability to distinguish accurate pronunciation, accents, and speaking styles.
English is not just something to learn—it’s something to use. Our unique system rotates teachers regularly across classes, allowing children to interact with instructors from different countries and enjoy the variety of accents, humor, and expressions. This everyday exposure to diverse English builds flexible communication skills and genuine confidence, nurturing global citizens who can connect with the world.

At Fenix, we hold “Library Day” every month to help children discover the joy of reading. They visit Hirakata City Central Library, choose their favorite books, and build reading skills while having fun.
A highlight of the day is the storytelling session by local volunteers—children are captivated by the stories and enjoy connecting with the community.
It’s a day full of learning, exploration, and excitement—just the kind of special experience Fenix is known for.

Fenix's Cooking Day is a special time for children to enjoy cooking while learning about the colors, shapes, origins, and growing process of different ingredients.
By experiencing the journey from farm to table, children not only learn the importance of food, but also develop a sense of gratitude toward those who prepare it.
It's a fun and meaningful day, filled with laughter, delicious aromas, and hands-on learning.

At Fenix, we value creating fun and memorable experiences for our children.
One of the most popular events is our monthly "MacDay."
Using our special currency, FENIX BUCKS, children get to choose their favorite burger and drink to create their very own Happy Meal.
It's a special day filled with smiles — a fun reward for the kids who work hard every day to enjoy their school lunches without being picky!

At Fenix, we organize 8 to 10 field trips and off-site learning experiences each year, with destinations chosen together with the children.
Before each trip, we deepen their knowledge through preparatory learning, and then visit the sites to see, touch, and experience firsthand. This approach makes learning more meaningful and enriching.
Through these experiences, children nurture their curiosity and grow resiliently.

At Fenix, we believe that time spent playing and exploring in nature is an essential part of nurturing children’s curiosity and learning abilities.
Catching insects, observing plants, and playing with friends—these experiences help develop their sensitivity, thinking skills, and social interactions.
We utilize more than six parks within walking distance, where children connect with nature every day and feel the changing seasons.
Through these activities, we foster the joy of learning in the natural world.

At FENIX Children’s Market, kids get to experience both roles—shopkeeper and customer! Using our original currency, “FENIX Bucks,” they buy and sell handmade goods while learning how to manage money and make choices in a fun way.
By deciding “What should I buy?” and “What should I give up?” within a limited budget, children naturally develop skills in prioritizing and planning.
Through this activity, they also build an understanding of the value of money, basic math skills, and decision-making, while nurturing creativity, social skills, and the joy of learning.
